Corporate Management

Scientific Advisor

David J. Vaughan acts as an advisor to the Company. Dr. Vaughan holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Pathology and Biochemistry from the University of Toronto as well as an M.Sc. in Biochemistry and a B. Sc. In Chemistry from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Dr. David Vaughan is currently active as an independent consultant to the Pharmaceutical industry with significant clinical/ preclinical development and regulatory expertise in the Anti-infectives, Pain, CNS, and Gastrointestinal Disease areas. In the past 5 years Dr. Vaughan has guided and successfully completed preclinical development programs for 3 biotechnology companies resulting in several IND and CTA approvals. Additionally, Dr. Vaughan has written white papers on behalf of two pharmaceutical companies for regulatory review by US and Australian regulatory agencies. Dr. Vaughan has a lengthy Curriculum Vitae and has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over thirty years.

The Company is in the process of assembling additional advisors to serve on a Scientific Advisory Board, consisting of persons with knowledge and experience in our science and technical field.
