John C. Fanaras

JOHN C. FANARAS is the co-founder and President of Nucro-Technics, the largest Canadian, privately- owned Pharmaceutical Contract Support Organization. The company provides a broad range of Toxicology, Genetic Toxicology, Biomarkers, Bioanalytical, Analytical Chemistry, Microbiology and Regulatory Affairs consulting. With a staff of over 160 scientists, Nucro-Technics provides services to over 400 companies around the world, including 10 of the largest Pharmaceutical companies. Mr. Fanaras has been involved in all aspects of operational, investment, and management decisions for all business operations of Nucro- Technics for the last four decades.

The company is inspected on a regular basis and is in compliance with cGMP practices, by both US FDA and Health Canada, as well as by the Standards Council of Canada for GLP practices according to the OECD Guidelines.

Mr. Fanaras has also undertaken many community and social initiatives as the President and Chairman of the Board of the Hellenic Home for the Aged Inc. that provides 24-hour nursing care for 128 seniors, and    as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Heritage Foundation. He has also served as a Board Director of the Scarborough Chamber of Commerce, Centennial College of Applied Arts and Technology, West Park Hospital and Association of Canadian Community Colleges.

Mr. Fanaras holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology.
