Frank Gerardi

FRANK GERARDI is a co-founder and has been a Director since the Company’s inception. After serving in The United States Army, Frank Gerardi at age 24 became the youngest member of The New York Stock Exchange where he remained a member for 17 years. Continuing his education at the NY Institute of Finance, Mr. Gerardi became an NASD principal and founded Univest Management, Inc. Univest consulted in the tax-free spinoff of a public company and has had consulting agreements with both biotech and financial institutions.

Mr. Gerardi is a former Executive VP Lehman Brothers, Boston and is currently the Chairman of UltraVision Corporation, a manufacturer specializing in Medical Ultrasound Scanner research, design, and production.

Mr. Gerardi has served on both private and public boards of directors. In the public sector Mr. Gerardi was the Chairman and CEO of IGI Labs and was Chairman of the audit committee of Dyadic International.

While at IGI, Mr. Gerardi negotiated contracts with Estee Lauder and Chattem, now owned by Sanofi. He was also instrumental in turning IGI Labs from a contract cosmetic manufacturing company to an FDA approved topical generic pharmaceutical company.

As a board member of Dyadic he helped Dyadic negotiated the sale of one of its businesses to Dupont for $75 million.

Mr. Gerardi brings knowledge in the biotech arena and has a financial background including executive positions in major Wall Street investment banking firms.

Frank Gerardi would like to end his career fulfilling a promise he made to his mom before she died and help cure the disease that took her life, cancer. At Jupiter Biomedical Research he hopes to fulfill that promise not only for his mom but for millions of people.
